Get answers to common questions about Color Glossing & Cut.
Typical appointments range from 75 to 120 minutes depending on hair length, thickness, and desired gloss depth. Consultation and precision haircut are included, ensuring the gloss is perfectly blended and finished with a professional style tailored to you.
Gloss treatments add tone and shine and can blend minimal gray by softening contrast, but they do not provide permanent gray coverage. For full coverage of resistant gray roots, a permanent or demi-permanent color service is recommended; we'll advise during consultation.
Results generally last four to six weeks and fade gradually without harsh lines. Longevity depends on hair porosity and home care—use sulfate-free products, wash with cool water, minimize heat, and schedule gloss refreshes to maintain tone and shine.
Yes—because the gloss is non-ammonia and gentle, it's typically safe for previously colored or relaxed hair. We will assess your hair's condition first and may recommend a conditioning or bond-repair treatment to ensure optimal results.
Use a sulfate-free, color-safe shampoo and conditioner, wash less frequently with lukewarm water, and apply heat protectant before styling. Deep-condition weekly and use UV protection. Follow your stylist's product recommendations to preserve gloss and tone between visits.
Glosses are ideal for enhancing or subtly shifting tone—adding warmth, coolness, or depth—but not dramatic lightening. If you want a major color change, additional color services may be required; we'll discuss the best approach during consultation.
